Position Overview: MTG Engineers and Surveyors is looking for Civil Engineering and Drafting Interns. Interns will help coordinate engineering project management of commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use developments and contribute to the creation of accurate and detailed technical drawings. Internships will conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development. An understanding of technical standards will be essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and apply standard engineering and drafting techniques, procedures, and criteria on multiple types of land development and municipal projects.
- Complete design work using computer-aided software.
- Prepare reports and correspondence concerning the direction of assigned projects.
Benefits:
- Interns are paid on an hourly basis and typically work on a full-time basis (40 hours/week). Part-time positions are available on a case-by-case basis.
Position Overview: MTG Engineers and Surveyors is looking for a full time Entry Level Civil Engineer to help coordinate engineering project management of commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use developments. This position will conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 0-4+ years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication and design skills.

This position will conceptualize the entire civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development.
Responsibilities
- Manage a wide range of engineering projects and work with clients and staff to achieve project objectives.
- Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on multiple types of land development and municipal projects.
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
- Complete design work using computer-aided software.
- Prepare reports and correspondence concerning the direction of assigned projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License.
- 4+ years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting.
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve project objectives.
- Ability to teach others on the team including EITs and drafters.
- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills.
